You can book directly on our website racinesezel.com by selecting your dates and your lodge. You can also contact us by phone at +590 (0) 690 28 99 28 or by e-mail. Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
We accept payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) through our secure booking website, as well as bank transfer. For any questions about payment terms, please contact us directly.
Yes, a 40% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your stay. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your arrival. Details are clearly provided before you confirm your payment.
Our cancellation policy is specified during the booking process, depending on the platform used. 100% of prepaid payments are refundable for cancellations made 30 days or earlier before arrival. 50% of prepaid payments are refundable for cancellations made 14 days or earlier before arrival. 0% is refundable for cancellations made after this time.
However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that parties and gatherings in the lodges or in the swimming pools are prohibited for safety and insurance reasons. Contact us directly for a personalized quote.
The cleaning fee (€30) covers the full deep clean of the lodge after your stay: floors, bathroom, pool, terrace and equipment disinfection. We simply ask you to help by completing a few basic tasks before leaving: washing and putting away the dishes, emptying the bins, and gathering the towels in a pile. These small gestures allow us to welcome the next guests in the best possible conditions, while keeping cleaning fees reasonable for everyone.
The lodges & amenities
Each lodge can accommodate up to 4 guests. They feature an air-conditioned bedroom, an open-plan living area with views of the Caribbean Sea, a covered terrace, a fully equipped kitchen and a complete bathroom.
Yes! Each of our three lodges has its own private pool. You enjoy an exclusive aquatic space without sharing it with other guests — a rare luxury for a truly restorative stay.
Yes, each lodge has a fully equipped kitchen: hob, oven, refrigerator, microwave, crockery and cooking utensils. We encourage you to shop at local markets and stores to cook with fresh produce from Guadeloupe.

Yes, the bedroom in each lodge is fully air-conditioned for your comfort. The living room and terrace, open to nature, benefit from the natural Caribbean breeze.
Yes, bed linen and bath towels are included in your stay and refreshed for each rental. You can travel light! Please note that beach towels are not included but can be rented on site.
Yes, the property is equipped with a CCTV system in the common areas (entrance, car park, shared outdoor spaces) for your safety. The lodges and their private areas (terrace, pool) are not covered by cameras, in order to protect your privacy throughout your stay.

Yes! We offer breakfast on request, carefully prepared and delivered directly to your lodge. Order the day before for a delicious morning without leaving your terrace.
The Ti Punch Bar is open 1 to 2 evenings per week for a convivial moment with sunset views. On the menu: ti-punch, aged rum, homemade planter's punch, beers and soft drinks. Ask us at check-in for the opening evenings during your stay.
Yes! We offer equipment for rent to make the most of Guadeloupe: snorkelling kits (fins, mask, snorkel), hiking packs (poles, waterproof bags, water bottles) and complete picnic packs. Everything you need to explore without overloading your luggage.
Yes, a washing machine and tumble dryer are available on the property. You can also rent beach towels on site if you prefer to travel light.
Arrival & departure
Check-in is available from 5:00 PM and check-out must be completed before 10:00 AM. If you need a time adjustment, please contact us in advance and we will do our best depending on availability.
Yes, for your first night, we provide a welcome pack including: 1 toilet roll, 2 coffee pods (Dolce Gusto machine), 1 fresh bottle of water, 1 bin liner in each bin… and a small bottle of local rum as a gift to start your Guadeloupe stay the right way! 🌴
We are located at 566 Route de Beausoleil, Vieux-Fort, Guadeloupe (97141). From Pôle Caraïbes airport, allow approximately 1h15 by car, heading towards Basse-Terre / Vieux-Fort. Renting a car is strongly recommended to make the most of the region.
Yes, a private and secure car park is available on the property, included in your stay. You can leave your vehicle with complete peace of mind.
Pets & accessibility
Unfortunately, we don't accept pets. If you're in need of some cuddles, Cori, our friendly bulldog, would be delighted to provide them.
The property is located in a natural setting, on land that may have uneven terrain. The lodges are not specifically adapted for reduced mobility access. For any particular situation, please contact us directly so we can advise you before booking.
Transport & car rental
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Lodges Racines é Zel are set in a natural environment in Vieux-Fort, in the south of Basse-Terre, away from the main tourist areas. A car is essential for grocery shopping, exploring the beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails and Creole villages nearby. Public transport is very limited in this area.
